Savage Rivale Roadyacht - dreams, pioneering spirit and know-how

The two young Dutch sports car enthusiasts Emile Pop and Justin De Boer set themselves high goals early on. As early as 2001, Emile laid the foundation for the later Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS with his first drawings with his own design for the sports car. For the time being, however, no investors were found for his lifelong dream. He then pursued his studies in industrial design in The Hague.

In 2005 he met Justin de Boer and was soon able to inspire him with the idea of his own sports car. When the two then founded the company Bewerp Inc. in 2008, an important milestone was set.

Modern road yacht with ZR1 engine

A very unusual design combination offers space for inspiration and makes the heart of the sports car enthusiast beat faster. Power, suppleness and streamlining are truly unbeatable components. The main goal, to create a first 4-door convertible coupé for 4 people, which impresses with the mix of engine power and elegance.

Three animals were models for the exclusive sleek design. The abilities of snake, bull and cat have been incorporated into the Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS. The foldable glass roof can be opened and closed within a few seconds. The engine should release at least 600 hp and under no circumstances be heavier than 250 kilos. Finally, the engine should satisfy the highest demands. The choice quickly fell on the small block V8, which comes from the Corvette ZR1. An adapted 6,2 liter engine transmits incredible 679 horsepower to the rear wheels with the help of an Eaton compressor.

The Corvette C6 was the inspiration for the chassis, which seemed particularly suitable due to its design-related weight distribution. A first prototype dates from 2005, a second from 2009. The most important thing should not go unmentioned. With a top speed of 330 km/h, pure driving pleasure should be inevitable and that in the elegant exterior of a road yacht.

The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS will soon be on display at the Top brands Monaco 2012, the world's most exclusive supercar show.
