VW subsidiary Seat now offers three series of natural gas engines with the abbreviation TGI. These can help to reduce fuel costs significantly, but they are more expensive to buy than an equally powerful petrol engine. The Spaniards are now waiving this surcharge for the time being: until the end of the second quarter, the same prices will be called for Arona TGI, Leon TGI and Ibiza TGI as for a correspondingly motorized TSI counterpart. The Leon TGI, which is normally on the list with 24.850 euros, can now be bought for 1.500 euros cheaper, for example. Ibiza and Arona can save 1.000 euros.
