Skoda Octavia RS now as diesel and with all-wheel drive

RS is the name given to the sporty variants at Skoda. Now there is the new Octavia in another RS ​​version.

Skoda expands the range of engines for the Octavia RS. In addition to the 2,0-liter TSI with 180 kW / 242 PS in conjunction with front-wheel drive (from 38.540 euros), the new 2.0-liter TDI with 147 kW / 200 PS is now also available in the RS version. The diesel is available for both the sedan and the combi variant and can be ordered with front or all-wheel drive. The sedan starts at around 39.200 euros, the 4 × 4 version starts at around 39.900 euros. For the station wagon, an extra charge of around 1.860 euros is due.

Sporty details at no extra charge

The Octavia RS 2.0 TDI achieves 400 Nm and in the all-wheel drive version completes the standard sprint in 6,8 seconds. The top speed is reached at 243 (sedan) or 238 (estate). Skoda indicates the average consumption as 5 liters each. The variants with front-wheel drive consume an average of 4,4 liters, their top speeds are 249 and 245 km / h. In all versions, power is transmitted by a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Sports suspension and progressive steering are standard features.
The price also includes specific front and rear aprons, black 18-inch models and black applications on the radiator grille, the exterior mirror caps and the window frames. Also ex works include heated sports seats, matrix LED headlights and a driving profile selection including RS mode.
