Ssangyong Actyon Sports Facelift - More power for the pick-up

For the model year 2017, the Korean manufacturer Ssangyong his Actyon Sport pick-up refreshed in some details. Most important novelty: A stronger and more efficient Euro 6 diesel engine.

Instead of the previous 114 kW / 155 PS strong two-liter diesel, an 2,2 liter four-cylinder with 131 kW / 178 PS and 400 Newtonmeter torque will be used in the Korean pack animal. The diesel can optionally be combined with a manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic from Aisin as well as with rear or all-wheel drive. For the 2WD version, Ssangyong specifies a standard consumption of 6,9 liters. With automatic and all-wheel drive, this value increases to 7,4 liters.

The details of the pick-up have also been changed. The front has been given a new grille, as well as LED daytime running lights and new fog lights. The center console has been modified in the interior. There is also an armrest with an integrated cup holder that can be folded out of the backrest for the rear seats.

The new Actyon Sports should be available in Germany at the end of 2016. The Koreans will probably keep the current price. The basic version currently costs around 20.500 euros.
