Vattenfall becomes partner of Mitsubishi Motors Germany

press report

Vattenfall GmbH, the German subsidiary of the Swedish energy supplier, becomes a partner of Mitsubishi Motors Deutschland GmbH. As one of the pioneers in electromobility, the Japanese carmaker is relying on its partner's know-how in this area and recommends individual, business and fleet customers in Germany with individual complete solutions from Vattenfall - with the construction of charging infrastructures, installation and maintenance services as well as TÜV certified, to 100 percent renewable and CO2-free green electricity from Vattenfall's own wind turbines.

"We have dedicated ourselves to the topic of electromobility for many years and took a pioneering position in Germany with the first mass-produced electric car i-MiEV in 2010," says Dennis Lindroth, Head of Sales Control & Green Mobility and adds: "It will follow shortly SUV crossover model Outlander PHEV with plug-in hybrid drive, which celebrates its German debut at the International Motor Show IAA 2013 in Frankfurt / Main. Our corporate strategy, which is clearly geared to alternative propulsion systems, is now perfectly complemented by a holistic mobility service provider such as Vattenfall. "
