Volvo V90 Cross Country - all-wheel drive station wagon costs 56.000 euros

For prices starting from 56.350 Euro is now the Volvo V90 Cross Country can be ordered. The off-road station wagon will be delivered at the beginning of 2017. In the basic version of the Swedish all-wheel-drive vehicle, a 140 kW / 190 hp 2,0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine works, which is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, a four-cylinder diesel with 173 kW / 235 hp and two turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines with 187 kW / 254 hp or 235 kW / 320 hp are available. All-wheel drive is standard on board.

The rough road variant of the V90 business class station wagon also always has a body that is six centimeters higher and various attachments with an off-road vehicle look. These include underride protection on the front and rear, planking on the vehicle flanks and a special roof rail. As an added bonus, the cross-country model comes with extensive standard equipment, including two-zone automatic climate control, an emergency brake assistant with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and the so-called Pilot Assist II, which takes over the steering when driving up to 130 km / h. The surcharge for the Cross Country model compared to a comparable standard V90 is around 1.800 euros. Without all-wheel drive technology and off-road design, the V90 is available from 45.800 euros.
