Bjoern and Jens Stratmann from Rad-Ab.com were recently at the Nürburgring and watched the spectacle very personally at the sixth run. They actually wanted to start a small duel, but one of the two did not come with optimal sports equipment. The Seat Leon Eurocup is only in its third year, but it can still be seen as a completely established racing series that is hard to imagine without racing. 14 drivers from ten countries fight with the knife between their teeth for the coveted podium places. The races are held on the different routes across Europe. And these are not just any unknown airfields in Wallachia, but the most famous tracks in Europe. From Estoril to Silverstone, Paul Ricard in France, the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the legendary Nürburgring to Mugello and Barcelona, ​​everything is there. The latter race concludes at 5. and 6. The penultimate race weekend took place at the Nürburgring and Bjoern and Jens looked at it. The sixth of seven races was dominated by the two drivers Mikel Azcona and Alessandro Sebasti. It is sometimes a bit rough. But the Seat Leon Cup Racer can do it, after all it is a real racing car. And it doesn't separate him that much from the Seat Leon Cupra 290, which is on our roads. Of course, this has less power and no roll cage. The competition brake and the fully adjustable undercarriage are also missing. But the engine is very similar to that of the racer. In addition, both direct their power to the front wheels and tame them with a mechanical lock. And what works in racing can also work on the public road ?!
