VW Load Up - Slightly lifted

After the car variants of the Up liftet VW now also the commercial vehicle versions of the micro car. The mini-delivery truck Load Up offers, among other things, newly-formed headlamps, chrome for the radiator and redesigned rear lights. In addition, LED daytime running lights are now standard equipment. The drive program continues to include a 44 kW / 60 PS strong three-cylinder gasoline engine, which is also available in a natural gas version with 50 kW / 68 PS, and an electric motor with 60 kW / 82 PS. The net prices start at 9.290 Euro (gross: 11.055 Euro) for the gasoline engine, the E model costs from 23.100 Euro (27.490 Euro).

The commercial vehicle variant of the electric micro car is based on the five-door passenger car, but renounces a rear bench and thus offers up to 990 liters of luggage space volume. To secure cargo, a mesh partition to the passenger compartment, robust side panels and four lashing eyes on the floor are used. The rear side windows are dark glazed, not glued over or replaced by sheet metal as in comparable models. The van initially runs as a classic car from the belt and is then converted by removing the back seat and the assembly of the loading floor to the commercial vehicle. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
