News: Range Rover Evoque Facelift - Refreshed Bestseller

Four years after the market launch comes the Range Rover Evoque in August in a revised version on the market. The facelift of the compact SUV is being presented by the British at the Geneva Motor Show (5 to 15, March). In addition to a few optical details get coupe and five-door technical updates and a new diesel engine.

Thus, the new all-aluminum diesel of the Ingenium engine family enters the compact SUV. The engine is available in two power levels: with 110 kW / 150 PS, the Evoque 4,2 liters per 100 km consume (109 g CO2 / km), in the variant with 132 kW / 180 PS it is 4,8 liter standard consumption (125 g CO2 / km). Around 18 percent less consumption than the previous generation, the manufacturer indicates, also brings the unit depending on the version 20 to 30 kilos less on the scales. In a fuel-saving version, there will be the smaller diesel in the future with front-wheel drive. In addition, still available is the well-known 177 kW / 240 PS strong gasoline engine.

Differences in bumper, grille and headlights highlight, among other things, the revised version. As the first Jaguar Land Rover model, the compact SUV will have optional adaptive full-LED headlights. Inside, the instrument panel has been refreshed, and the model year 2016 also receives new seats with optional massage function.

A newly designed infotainment system with Ach-inch touch screen, which can be operated via smartphone apps, is standard in the lower equipment lines. With higher equipment is for example a hard drive Navi on board. As a new option, you can add a foot lift under the rear operated electric tailgate or even the lane departure warning. Lane Departure Warning and Emergency Brake Assist are standard. Whether something changes in price, is not yet known. Currently the Evoque costs at least 33.500 Euro.
