Aston Martin Vantage Roadster No. 3rd

The oldest surviving vehicle from Aston Martin's early days has turned 100. A small edition special model is available to celebrate.

Before Aston Martin went into series production of sports cars, prototypes such as the No. 3 - also called A3 - built. It is considered to be the brand's oldest vehicle still in existence. The 11 hp roadster is now celebrating its 100th birthday, which the British have taken as an opportunity to produce a limited version of the current Vantage Roadster as a reminiscence of the original Aston.

However, only a few optical details have been changed. Special features are a close-meshed and black painted radiator grille with aluminum frame, silver fender inserts with engraved "No. 3 “lettering and copper-colored brake callipers, which are clearly visible behind special 20-inch wheels. There are also some copper accents and embroidery in the largely black interior. There is also a special metal badge in the door sill.
