To celebrate his success in the endurance races of the past year Audi the sports car R8 now as a special model "Selection 24h". The special edition is based on the 449 kW / 610 hp Top Coupé V10 Plus and also has, among other things, adaptive dampers, laser light and dynamic steering. The outer distinguishing feature is a three-color paint finish in gray-black-red, a rear wing and a diffuser made of glossy-lacquered carbon as well as sideblades with “R8 24h lettering”. The special model can now be ordered at a price of 229.000 euros. Compared to the comparable series model, this means a premium of around 40.000 euros.
The R8 Coupé V10 Plus Selection 24 h should not only recall the success of the brand at the 24-hour race in Le Mans and other endurance races, but also draw attention to the new customization options in the series. According to the manufacturer, customers will be able to personalize their cars with almost freely selectable lettering and logos in the future for a fee.
