Erlkönig caught: Mercedes-Benz GT AMG C190

There are rumors that the AMG GT, the new and especially smaller version of the Mercedes AMG SLS this year (September) will completely drop its camouflage. I managed to photograph one of the test carriers today.

The AMG GT is manufactured in a full aluminum construction, the days wrote car, motor and sport when photos of a Erlkönig photographed at the Nürburgring were presented there.

The ams also wrote about a starting price of around € 130.000 - that wouldn't be a snap, but it would be based on the most important “opponent”. The Swabians have been carrying the subtle message on their license plate throughout the entire development process. S-GO - the Porsche press vehicles usually get the “GO” stuck on the license plate. The AMG GT Erlkönige also drive with the “Go!” in license plate - of course, the benchmark for the new athlete is the long-running Porsche 911

The AMG GT will get the new V8 Bi-Turbo with more than 500 hp, but unlike the Stuttgart competitor, Mercedes-Benz will rely on a driven axle. 4matic is no cue for the new sports car from Affalterbach. For this you want to work hard on the weight - down - and work on the aerodynamic efficiency of the athlete. In the photos you can see a Erlkönig with a powerful tear-off edge at the rear.
