Tidy cockpit
The cockpit has been carefully revised, the many small buttons of the multimedia system have disappeared, instead the 8-inch touchscreen moved in. A good reason to present the Kuga facelift at a mobile trade fair? The Ford SYNC 3 multimedia system. New 1.5 liter diesel engine
With the facelift, a new TDCi diesel engine is moving into the compact SUV. The new 1.5 liter TDCi delivers 120 PS just like the 2.0 liter predecessor engine. However, fuel consumption drops to 4.4 liters per 100 km (Prediction, not yet confirmed!) and the CO2 emissions with 115 g / km (Forecast). The new small diesel is only available with front-wheel drive. If you order the 4 × 4 version of the Kuga, you can still drive up with the 2.0 TDCi. A 180 HP diesel and three petrol engines with 120, 150 or 182 HP rank above it.
SUV offensive of the Cologne
The facelift of the Kuga is just another chord in the SUV piece of music with which you currently want to show off. In addition to the fresher Kuga, there has recently been one EcoSport, the very compact SUV version and in the near future the Ford Edge. The Ford Edge will be one of five new SUVs from Cologne. With the Kuga facelift and the Ecosport, two more models are missing.
The new Ford Kuga will be launched in early 2017 - it will be possible to order from June 2016.
