The Kia EV6 will be available from autumn. Now there are the first prizes.
SP-X / Frankfurt. The Kia EV6, which will be available from autumn, is available from 45.000 euros and can now be reserved online. The 4,69 meter long crossover, which is based on the new modular, purely electric E-GMP platform of the Hyundai-Kia Group, drives up in the basic version with a 125 kW / 169 PS electric motor and rear-wheel drive. The 58 kWh battery should be good for a range of up to 400 kilometers. The more powerful battery with 77,4 kWh is also available as an option, increasing the range to a good 510 kilometers. The standard features include a large, curved display, navigation system, two-zone automatic air conditioning and LED headlights.
The GT-Line equipment variant costs 168 kW / 229 PS and rear-wheel drive from 55.000 euros. The stronger battery is included here. Among other things, GT-Line-specific equipment details as well as leather and ambient light are on board ex works. Alternatively, there is an all-wheel drive version with 239 kW / 325 PS. Kia has not yet announced any further prices or specifications.
The top model GT with 480 kW / 585 hp is in the price list from 66.000 euros and will be available at the end of the year. The GT variant drives with all-wheel drive and 740 Nm. The standard sprint takes 3,5 seconds and the top speed is reached at 260 km / h. Automatically retractable door handles, 21-inch wheels and sports bucket seats are part of the standard equipment.
For customers who order an EV6 model on the basis of a reservation by December 31, 2021, Kia pays the basic fee for the KiaCharge service for 2 years and that of the Ionity service for one year. Every EV6 model can recharge at 800 and 400 volt charging stations without additional components or adapters.
