The cars could talk, have an extra boost button, drive ultra-fast and if necessary, the cars survived the coolest jumps on huge canyons. For example, there was a certain David Hasselhoff as Michal Knight in the talking KITT and we sat in front of the TV and were fascinated. As we got older, with our driver's license in our pockets, we did not need the super heroes or their super cars. The first own car fascinated me much more than any US series. That probably went like this for everyone. We did not need the superheroes in their super cars anymore.
The result? Superheroes that are not needed fall into an identity crisis. Not infrequently, the former heroes also fell into deep depression. Frustrated Cheesburger binge attacks, banned on cell phone videos, were the result. But now there is a remedy!
The pedal box therapy:
Okay - in fact, it's just an electrical helper from a chip tuner company. And of course it's not for the super heroes, but for your own car.
They call the thing: “Pedal Box” and plant it at the root of driving fun 😉 * rofl *. The pedal box is nothing more than a chip that influences the response of the accelerator pedal (only possible in modern cars with an electronic accelerator pedal). In contrast to chip tuning, the engine performance is not changed. Only the reaction of the engine control unit to the actuation of the accelerator pedal is adjusted by pressing a button. Or to put it even more simply: The pedal box changes the “ratio” between “full throttle” and idle.
I wouldn't actually advertise such a gimmick on the blog - (Btw .: This article is an advertisement) - but the video clip that DTE-Systems put online for the pedal box is simply good. I like the allusions to David Hasselhoff and the idea behind the campaign. And there are supposed to be people whose first act in a new car is to install chip tuning. I think such “car freaks” also like the pedal box.
