Youngtimer fans watch out: Blaupunkt has reissued the ball loudspeakers that were popular around 40 years ago in a technically modernized form.
Whether Opel Manta, Ford Capri or Audi 100 - in many classics of the 70s and 80s they were standard decorations on hat shelves: the LAZ 6525 designated 10-watt spherical speakers from Blaupunkt. Now the compact sound generators are being revived to give youngtimer owners in particular the opportunity to install a stylish audio system.
The mini-boxes, christened “Globe Speakers” in their new edition, were also technically upgraded. The nominal load capacity is given as 25 watts with an impedance of 4 ohms. A maximum output power of 55 watts and a sound pressure of up to 88 decibels are possible. Blaupunkt gives the unit price 39 euros. This includes a swivel base and a drilling template.
