According to Aston Martin's latest Twitter post, the "wait is finally over." The British car manufacturer officially announced the next mid-engine super sports car with the title “Project 003”. Shortly before the completion of the Valkyrie series, the super sports car fireworks at Aston Martin continue.
In the picture you can see a wide tail on the upper part of which the exhaust system is mounted. Aston Martin wants some features from Aston Martin Valkyrie take over. In addition to the lightweight construction, active aerodynamics and active suspension should be used in #Project003.
Project 003 will be launched in 2021
The “new” one will be powered by a turbocharged hybrid engine. They also want to focus more on more comfortable passenger transport. The “003” will be street legal in all markets. It will be available for both left and right hand drive. It is also designed to offer more practical concessions for roadworthiness, including space for luggage.

Project 001 was the designation for the Aston Martin Valkyrie, Project 002 for the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro.
The new mid-engine hypercar is limited to 500 units worldwide. The first supercars are expected to come onto the market at the end of 2021.
