Aston Martin Valhalla - Another member for the V family

Aston Martin enters the prestigious Hypercars business. The prelude is Valkyrie, which starts this year. 2021 follows the slightly tame Valhalla. V Cars call the British their new model family, which somehow sounds suspiciously German in spite of a different spelling.

What was in March at the Geneva Motor Show with the presentation of the study RB 003 indicated, is now official: planned for the end 2019 by Aston Martin Hypercar Valkyrie gets 2021 a sister model, which was now baptized on the similarly "German" name Valhalla.

The close relationship between Valkyrie and Valhalla is unmistakable. In both cases, the extreme athletes are characterized by a carbon chassis with a radical aerodynamic concept. The Valhalla should be the more everyday model in the new family of so-called "V Cars". This is partly due to a more spacious interior, which is also better for carrying luggage.

The spring-ready, close-to-production hypercar concept RB 003, which was produced in the spring, has now been given the official model name Valhalla

For the propulsion in Valhalla a charged V6 petrol engine and an electric motor are responsible. The combustion engine gives its power to the rear axle, the E-unit to the front wheels. How fast and strong the model limited to 500 specimens will be, the British keep for the time being. But in English media is speculated about a system performance of about 1.000 PS and a price of more than one million euros.
