The Aston Martin Valkyrie is taking on ever clearer forms. The partnership with the Formula 1 racing team Red Bull Racing creates a hypercar for the road. The first videos promise a lot, especially the Formula 1-specific sound of the 6,5 liter V12 engine makes you sit up and take notice.
The engine is based on the 2,4 liter V8 engine from the British engine manufacturer Cosworth, which is said to have an output of 1.000 hp. There is also an energy recovery system on the front axle. In the overall package, the Aston Martin Valkyrie should become the fastest road racing car ever.

Aston Martin Valkyrie - Mystical Hypercar
The Formula 1 influence is evident in the Valkyrie's slightly reclined seats. They have a six-point belt system for the driver and front passenger. The pilot holds a steering wheel in his hand, on which all important data is displayed. In addition, he should be able to look at three LCDs. One in the middle as an info display, one on the left and one on the right as a side mirror replacement.
On Instagram Aston Martin shows the first official pictures of the Hypercar's Valkyrie, whose name also comes from Norse mythology, similar to that Koenigsegg Ragnarok, stems. It stands in a long tradition of the initials, which all begin with a "V".
The 150 planned Valkyrie models are said to have all already been sold. Delivery of the first copies is planned for mid-2019.
