The car trade will shift more to the Internet in the future. Audi also plans to enter the online direct sales of new vehicles. First with a pilot project.
SP-X / Ingolstadt. From June 6th, Audi will be offering its TT sports car as a special Quantum Gray Edition model, exclusively online. Audi has had its own used car exchange on the Internet since 2017. In the future, the Ingolstadt-based company also wants to offer new cars online. The distribution of the TT special model serves as a pilot project. At the beginning of 2020, Audi intends to work more closely with its dealers to promote new cars online.
In the case of the TT Quantumgrau, customers are given the opportunity to obtain leasing or financing offers online as well as to have an admission with desired labeling and arrange for delivery to a desired location. The TT Quantum gray, which costs around 62.300 euros, is only available as a 45 TFSI Quattro S Tronic, i.e. with a 180 kW / 245 PS petrol engine in combination with all-wheel drive and automatic transmission. The coupé thus achieves the standard sprint in less than six seconds, the top speed is 250 km / h. Special features of the edition model are the Express Red design package and a partial matt finish.
