Ford wants to know. With many German premieres and the new Sync2 operating system, the Cologne-based car manufacturer is driving a host of attractions at the AMI 2014 on. The most important exhibit is certainly the new Ford Focus. The second half of the model starts this autumn with a powerful design, numerous new assistance systems and driver-friendly features. Also new to the range are two ultra-modern EcoBoost petrol engine and TDCi turbodiesel engines, each with 1,5 liters and remarkable stinginess.
If you want to have a bit more fun with the most successful Ford model of all time, you can order in addition to the PowerShift dual-clutch transmission and the conventional automatic transmission steering wheel shift paddles. A little fun must be, right?
The new Sync2 operating system with voice control and touchscreen also celebrates its market launch here. The infotainment system with the 8-inch high-resolution color display belongs to the latest generation. The aim of this model is to create a unique product experience that combines sophisticated design with first-class materials and workmanship. Innovative technologies complement the Vignale.
Another outlook on the upcoming model year 2015 granted the new Ka Black & White, The new special model is based on the equipment line Titanium and offers the standard metallic paint "Midnight Black" color-coordinated fabric upholstery and a leather steering wheel. Special decorative elements characterize the new Ford Ka also.
Just as progressive is the new EcoSport, the smart off-road look lifestyle SUV with three engines - two petrol and one diesel - at the start. On the gasoline side: the direct-injection 1,0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder with 125 hp and a 1,5-liter Ti-VCT engine with 112 hp. If you prefer diesel, we recommend the new 1,5-liter TDCi with 90 hp. He also sets standards new Tourneo Courier, Compact on the outside, big on the inside, exemplary economical and safe. With a length of only 4,16 meters, it offers plenty of room in the interior for up to five people. More than 700 liters are in there.
