1. Cadillac on tour
Cadillac travels across Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg. The “On Tour” roadshow will take you to 22 venues in twelve cities over a period of five weeks. To see: the brand new CTS, the ATS, the Crossover SRX and, new in the program, the Corvette, which will of course also be available for test drives. Bet there is a lot of crowds among the over 10.000 expected visitors? There is also a varied program to keep the visitors entertained in addition to the extensive test fleet.
2. Land Rover is adventurous
On the "Adventure & Allrad “fair, the largest off-road show in Europe in Bad Kissingen, Land Rover shows its adventurous side. The adults want to play, and on a large scale. The models on display are the 2015 model Defender, the Discovery "XXV" special model and a vehicle from the new Defender Challenge rally series. In addition to the whole amount of horsepower on four wheels, there was also a qualification camp for the next Land Rover Experience Tour. This leads to the outback of Australia in 2015 and is looking for enterprising adventurers who can show team spirit.
3. Tesla will fill up with sunshine from 2015
Electric cars are quiet and produce no exhaust fumes without them. But their rechargeable batteries are filled with electricity, which has mostly been porudized in a not very environmentally friendly way. The American electric car pioneer Tesla therefore relies on green electricity from wind or hydropower and is now also cooperating with the German specialist Solarworld. Soon solar power will make driving completely without CO2. The caports with solar elements on the roof supply the Tesla vehicles with electricity. With an average amount of sunshine, that's around 2200 kilowatt hours. That is enough to drive a Tesla in around 12.000 kilometers at no additional cost. Well then, Waldmanns Strom!
4. More wroom for MINI
From July 2014, MINI will add two new engines to its engine range. The Cooper SD brings a more powerful diesel variant and the One First comes with a new gasoline entry-level model. The former is a 2,0 liter engine that delivers 170 hp and a maximum torque of 360 Newton meters. It can go from zero to 100 km / h in just 7,3 seconds with a standard consumption of around 4,1 liters. The new entry-level model is a 1,2-liter three-cylinder that presses 75 hp and 150 Nm of torque onto the tires. The little one needs 12,8 seconds to pack the 100 km / h with a standard consumption of approx. 5,2 liters. Well, a beginner can sometimes take longer?
5. Top model VW Amarok Ultimate
A pick-up always conveys something of unlimited freedom. Endless roads and independence. With the new Amarok from Volkswagen Wolfsburg herald a new model year. Eight-speed automatic, permanent all-wheel drive, TDI engines and a modified front look make the Amarok a real eye-catcher. 19-inch wheels, a special lettering, a silver design underride guard and side threshold tubes in chrome support the exterior. The interior is enhanced with anthracite-titanium black seat covers in the finest Alcantara leather and special velor floor mats. 6. On vacation with the Citroen Jumpy by Westfalia
The holiday season is about to begin and you want to go on a big tour with the little ones. It works well with the Citroen Jumpy by Westfalia, the latest recreational vehicle on the market. The vehicle based on the Jumpy Multispace Tendance offers some comfort for the long tour.
