Torsus Praetorian school bus

If the school can only be reached via unpaved roads, normal school buses quickly reach their limits. But there are alternatives.

The Czech truck conversion company Torsus has designed an all-terrain school bus. Based on his Praetorian bus model, the school bus variant is designed to bring up to 35 children safely to school even on the most difficult slopes.
The 8,70 meter long 4 × 4 off-road vehicle is based on a MAN chassis and is powered by a 213 kW / 290 PS MAN engine. It has a ground clearance of up to 40 centimeters. Special off-road tires from Michelin are designed to protect against tire damage. The seats are designed for the needs of children and are equipped with height-adjustable seat belts. The manufacturer does not name prices, the Praetorian Bus is available from 166.000 euros.
