B&B pumps up the new Audi A4 Avant powerfully - more suitable for the Nordschleife

It has been over half a year since Audi launched the A4 Avant of the new B9 generation. Now the Siegen-based vehicle refiner B&B has put together its extensive tuning program for the Ingolstadt bestseller. It offers various options for making the vehicle even more dynamic.

The standard program includes the performance enhancements that B&B offers for diesel and gasoline engines. The 3.0 TDI turns 272 into a whopping 350 hp and 725 Newton meters, which goes hand in hand with a sprint time reduction from 5,4 to 4,5 seconds. The top speed is increased to 275 km / h. This highest performance level for the large diesel costs around 4.000 euros.

For the smaller 2.0 TDI there is an increase from 190 to 230 PS for 1.200 euros, for around 3.000 euros even 250 PS and 500 Newton meters are in it. The petrol counterpart 2.0 TFSI is strong with the small power injection of 300 hp, while level 2 with 320 hp allows a little more. A maximum of 365 HP is possible, which is achieved, among other things, by installing a special turbocharger and a modified exhaust pipe. In view of this renovation, B&B is charging around 8.000 euros.

The highlight of the performance increases is the S4, which comes with 354 hp from the factory. B&B can turn it into 450 hp and 600 Newton meters, provided the customer can do without around 6.000 euros for the extra punch.

The PS series can also be staged visually. An even more subtle aerodynamic package from B&B makes the A4 look beefier and more aggressive. In addition, the Siegener offers various chassis options that bring the vehicle a little closer to the asphalt. Special wheels in 19 or 20 inch format as well as sport tailpipes with sound generator (B&B promises V8 acoustics) complete the refinement program. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
