The first bespoke model of a Bentayga Hybrid drives in China

Bentley turned a Bentayga Hybrid into a one-off grand tourer for a Chinese customer. The Bentayga Hybrid One Off is only available once in this special configuration. It was built exclusively and by hand especially for a Chinese customer.

Bentley wants to equip its entire Bentley series with hybrid drives by 2023. The British luxury car manufacturer aims to become a global leader in sustainable luxury mobility. The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid is therefore just one of two hybrid models that will be launched in 2021.

Bentley Bentayga in Viridian

Inspired by the Chinese color of purity, Bentley Mulliner has transformed a Bentayga into a unique hybrid vehicle. The exterior color chosen was Viridian, a dark and mysterious emerald from the Mulliner color palette. Visually, the 22-inch Mulliner wheels stand out from the overall appearance. Their center struts were also painted in Viridian to match.

The interior of the Bentayga Hybrid One Off is also exclusive

The bespoke interior features Cumbrian Green leather, matching piano veneer and contrast stitching that underscores the interior's British craftsmanship. Over 100 meters of bright white hand-stitch thread underline the attention to detail.

Inside and outside in soothing green

In Chinese culture, the color green represents purity, regeneration, hope, harmony and growth. This was the incentive for tuner Bentley Mulliner to develop the One Off model. The dark green reflects the colors of nature and is intended to have a calming effect from the ground up. In addition, it should contribute to more serenity, which driving with the electric drive in the Bentayga hybrid .

Luxury down to the smallest detail

Upon entering the Bentayga Hybrid One Off, driver and passenger are greeted by an illuminated Mulliner step plate. The luxurious details continue in the interior. A fully integrated drinks cooler is located in the rear center console. It is made of frosted glass with a soft-closing door. Plus a separately illuminated bottle cooling ring and two custom made and handcrafted Cumbria crystal flutes.

New modern design for the Bentayga

The exterior design of the new Bentayga series has been completely revised compared to the previous generation in order to create an even more stylish car.

The large grille is now more upright. The new, intelligent LED matrix headlight technology was inspired by cut crystal glass. The rear of the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid has been completely redesigned. The rear lights are now integrated into the widened tailgate. The number plate migrated to the rear bumper.

The motorization of the hybrid One Off

[dropcap size=big]5,2[/dropcap]The hybrid grand tourer is powered by a 3,0-liter V6 engine and an electric motor. It delivers a total of 449 hp and sprints to 5,2 km/h in 100 seconds. Bentley specifies its top speed as 255 kilometers per hour.

The green Bentley Bentayga Hybrid will be on display at the Shanghai Motor Show in April.
