Bloglight December: Mitsubishi - Shine bright like a Diamond

The best comes for last and in this case the first thing that comes to mind is a lyrics:

“Shine bright like a diamond”

The Bloglight in December goes to a manufacturer that has grown dear to my heart. And not because I was at a very special event with this manufacturer this year, no - there were also no envelopes with cash, no - a business class flight abroad was also not included and no 5-star hotels either - The Bloglight in December goes to a manufacturer from Japan, which is hardly noticed in Germany. The market share has sunk painfully and yet there is an open ear for bloggers.

Stefan Buttner MitsubishiIn principle, this bloglight is mainly due to a man, the face of Mitsubishi Motors Germany: Stefan Buttner. On behalf of him 😉 - the Bloglight in December goes to:

Mitsubishi Motors Germany

Up until the turn of the millennium, Mitsubishi Motors was best known in Germany for its rally successes at the Paris-Dakar and the World Rally Championship. With the first crisis in the automotive industry and the change to economical vehicles, it was a little difficult - but in the end we presented the electric vehicle in Germany that you could buy locally at the dealer.

The sporting success of the brand is currently maintained primarily by private rally operations - with the exception of participation in the "Race to the clouds” this year.

Mitsubishi has also had particular successes in recent years, that's the case Mitsubishi ASX and the Mitsubishi Outlander so successful that these vehicles were adopted by two other brands and are now also being sold under their brand names.

For me personally there was even a very small one from Mitsubishi, a very big one this year: The test car of the year 2012! The meeting of the Mitsubishi fansthat I was able to experience this for the first time this year.

Mitsubishi Motors Germany is likely to have the smallest budget of all automobile importers in Germany and yet the responsible press contact at MMD, Stefan Büttner, was always open to my questions and requests. No importer, and certainly no German manufacturer, has given me such an open-hearted and credible appreciation as Mitsubishi Germany.

This Bloglight should therefore be a reward and an appreciation of the achievements that not only I was able to experience through Mitsubishi Motors Germany this year!

Stefan & Mitsubishi: Rock on!

Some of my colleagues see it very similarly:
