Caterham Signature - Harrods graces the Seven

Thanks to the luxury shopping temple Harrods, the Caterham Seven is more than an object of desire. The British department store icon and the SportcarsManufacture have teamed up to create a bespoke program called Signature for the lightweight racer. At the moment, one can admire the Seven 420S styled to the very special specifications of Harrods in the London department store.

The issued 420S shows what is possible. The exterior finish in Harrods green gives the Seven a special aura. Also helpful are some gold accents, such as the powder-coated in a gold tone grid frame. The interior also radiates a cosiness that you could not experience in a Caterham so far. Fine leather with eye-catching decorative seams enhances, among other things, seats, steering wheel and gearshift lever. While the Harrods lettering adorns the backrests, the Harrods-H can be found on the gear knob and ignition key. In addition, the dashboard has been upgraded with a mighty wood panel that conjures up a real living room atmosphere in the narrow cockpit. Even with wheels, fabric roof, carpets, door panels and the instruments, the Signature program holds a variety of customization options.

Around 60.000 pounds should cost the Nobel-Seven, which corresponds to about 68.000 Euro. By comparison, the standard version of the 420 with S package is pretty much half the size. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
