RaceChip Ultimate with Smartphone Connect feature for more and more engines
RaceChip's innovative control of performance enhancements via smartphone app has also been available this week for a large number of turbo gasoline engines from German premium manufacturers BMW and Mercedes. The RaceChip Ultimate installed in the engine compartment can be controlled via the Connect feature from the driver's smartphone via the RaceChip app. Depending on the driving situation, the driver can choose from three performance levels: Efficiency, Sport and Race. These performance levels are individually tailored to each engine by the RaceChip development department and undergo extensive testing. Smartphone connect feature
RaceChip has set a milestone with the innovative operating concept of electronic performance enhancement via smartphone. The Connect feature for the RaceChip Ultimate allows the driver to choose one of three specially tuned performance levels via the RaceChip app on the smartphone. Efficiency for the economical city traffic, sport for the strong passage with fast cornering and Race for maximum performance. Also, the chip can be disabled via the app, so that the standard performance of the vehicle is applied. In addition, tuning can be activated after the warm-up phase of the engine by individually setting the warm-up timer. This ensures that the power increase only starts when the engine is at operating temperature. Other features include the automatic update of the RaceChip optimization software for the respective engine, the upload of new performance modes via live update, an individual vehicle profile and further integrated service functions. And last but not least, the demo mode on the smartphone also shows what's under the bonnet. The RaceChip app is available for all major Android and iOS devices.
RaceChip Ultimate now available for many turbo gasoline engines
The control of the performance increase of the RaceChip Ultimate via smartphone and RaceChip App is now also available for the popular turbo petrol engines of BMW and Mercedes. These include at BMW as follows: 16i, 20i, 28i, 30i, 35i and 40i all model series. Also the Mini Cooper S and the John Cooper Works. At Mercedes, enthusiastic drivers with the 160, 180, 200, 250 and 500 engines, regardless of the model in which these engines are installed, can now choose between three performance levels. The performance figures speak for themselves, the 135i from BMW with standard 306 PS and 400 Nm was increased to 370 PS and 521 Nm. And at Mercedes Benz comes, for example, the A-Class 180, factory-equipped with 122 PS and 200 Nm, on 170 PS and 280 Nm. The driving pleasure is guaranteed.
