If a volume maker serves the mainstream, that does not have to be boring, proof of that Citroen with the new edition of the C3. The small car changes significantly in the direction of crossover and takes over design features of the unusual C4 Cactus, such as the side "Airbumps".
In the top version with two-color paint and plastic planking all around the new C3 looks very fashionable. But also in the base, which should start around the 12.000 Euro, he shows roundish and dynamic at the same time, character. So the 3,99 Meter is supposed to rejuvenate the brand image for a long, worldwide bestseller.
Also in the interior, the French try their brand claim "Be different, feel good" (Be different and feel good) to meet. The customer can choose between four versions of the interior environment, a large touchscreen and online navigation make the small car a contemporary companion. On request, a so-called Dashcam on board is also available from the factory: an HD camera behind the interior mirror, with which videos and snapshots can be provided with GPS coordinates and uploaded to social media. The camera continues to film 90 seconds even after an accident, which should help to better clarify disputes.
In the C3, which is offered exclusively as a five-door, passengers on the backseat also have sufficient space; the boot volume is just as usual at 300 liters. An optional large glass roof replaces the previous panorama windshield. Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Detector can now also be ordered on request.
The petrol engines are exclusively three-cylinder used, in the basic version as usual the 1,0-liter with 50 kW / 68 PS and in the stronger variants of 1,2-liter with 60 kW / 82 PS or 81 kW / 110 PS. On the diesel front, the 1,6-liter Blue-HDi is available in both versions with 55 kW / 75 PS and 73 kW / 100 PS.
