Based on the Bentley Continental GT, the British are presenting their new Bentley Continental GT3 racing car for the 2018 racing season. The new racing car is also being developed and built at the Bentley plant in Crewe by the technicians and engineers of the M-Sport team.
The GT3 racing car with its aluminum body is characterized above all by an ideal motorsport total weight of only 1.300 kg. It is powered by the race-proven 4,0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with completely newly developed engine and exhaust components. He forwards 550 hp to the rear axle.

The appearance of the 2018 GT3 car was aerodynamically optimized in the wind tunnel without changing the typical design of a road Bentley. The striking and large rear spoiler and additional add-on parts increase the downforce. A new, bespoke braking system and sports suspension complete the new GT3 model.
In a six-month test program, the vehicle was put through its paces in England, France and Portugal. Endurance test runs in the 24-hour race format were also carried out.
The motorsport year 2017 was very successful for Bentley. The English luxury brand also wants to build on this with a 2018 model. Races in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and the Intercontinental GT Challenge are planned. He made his racing debut in 2018 at the first race in Monza.
