The development of the Lamborghini models - from 1963 until today

The Italian sports car manufacturer Automobile Lamborghini was founded in 1963. It is based in Sant'Agata Bolognese between Modena and Bologna. It all started in 1948 with the production of tractors. Today's video shows us how the development of the Lamborghini models progressed.

When in 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini started developing sports cars, he chose as brand icon the bull. This bull, named "Murciélago", survived his fight despite being stabbed 24 times in 1879. He was then pardoned.

The model chronicle ranges from the forefathers and prototypes to the latest models of the brand with the bull.

The real reason for the in-house development of sports cars, however, was a dispute between Enzo Ferrari and the sports car fan Ferruccio Lamborghini. He often had problems with his Ferrari and then wanted to build his own, even better vehicle.

It all started with the Lamborghini 350 GT. Many other models have been added over the years, culminating in today's sports SUV, the Lamborghini Governance.
