The great interest in electric cars from company car drivers is driving the electrification of company fleets. Active inquiries from authorized users were the most important reason for the purchase of e-mobiles or plug-in hybrids for 53 percent of the fleet managers of large German companies, according to an industry survey by the service provider Dataforce. In addition, the image gain for the company, state subsidies and environmental aspects played a role in the decision. Electrified company cars are also of particular interest to users for tax reasons, as the monetary benefit only has to be taxed at 0,25 percent of the list price.
