DS Automobiles will only be electric from 2024

Auch DS sets up his portfolio E-mobile around. This also includes a new long-haul vehicle.

You want to become a pure electric brand. From 2024, the Stellantis subsidiary plans to bring exclusively fully electric models onto the market, including an E version of the compact DS4 model. However, the premium offshoot of the Opel Astra and Peugeot 308 will initially be launched on the market as a gasoline and diesel engine as well as with a plug-in hybrid drive at the end of 2021. A new electric flagship with a range of up to 700 kilometers has also been announced. The unspecified model is to be the first series of the group to build on the new STLA medium platform of the group.

DS follows the group sisters

Other Stellantis brands have already published ambitious e-car targets. From 2028, Opel wants to offer only e-cars, Fiat in the period between 2025 and 2030 - depending on how quickly e-models close the price gap to the combustion engine. The sports car offshoot Abarth, which is less dependent on low costs, wants to be purely electric by 2024.
