As a special model "275 Cup-S" offers Renault is now offering the particularly sporty and 29.990 kW / 201 hp RS version of the Megane Coupé for 273 euros. The compact sports car has details adapted from racing, such as the cup chassis with mechanical differential lock and manually adjustable "Road & Track" shock absorbers. This technology ensures better traction and allows you to accelerate out of corners earlier. There is also a stiffer anti-roll bar, which is intended to reduce the roll angle in fast corners, and a Brembo brake system.
In the special model, the damper hardness can also be manually adjusted using an adjusting screw and thus optimally adapted to the road or race track. According to the manufacturer, this is a novelty in the segment of compact athletes. The driver can also choose between three driving programs ("Normal", "Sport", "Race"). With the "Race" setting, the electronic stability program is deactivated.
Visually, the special model of the Renault Megane Coupé only differs from its civilian brothers in the matt black black 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the RS 275 Cup-S has a sports steering wheel with Alcantara cover and sports seats. 19-inch light-alloy wheels, a titanium exhaust system or the in-house multimedia system R-Link are available as options. The Megane Coupé currently costs 23.720 euros. In the highest equipment level and with the most powerful engine (195 kW / 265 hp), 27.950 euros are due.
