The acceptance of e-cars is increasing, also as the main vehicle.
Private car buyers are increasingly becoming friends with the idea of purchasing an e-car as a replacement for the car they primarily use. 49 percent of respondents to a DAT survey (May 2022) said so, three years ago the approval was 39 percent. A quarter would only buy a battery electric vehicle as a second car or as an additional car. In 2019 it was still 45 percent. The survey participants see 403 kilometers as sufficient as a minimum range.
