The new Lexus IS 300h is the safest vehicle in the middle class in the Euro NCAP test of 2013 and was able to confidently claim the class victory. Today, modern vehicles have to receive 5 stars in the Euro-NCAP crash test as a matter of course. Especially when it comes to premium manufacturers. I would look up a Dacia four stars, one new BMW not.
