Star rain in the latest Euro NCAP test round: seven models receive the celestial body top rating.
Small or large, SUV or limousine, electric or conventional - there are safe cars in every class and dimension. In the crash test by the safety organization Euro-NCAP, all seven currently tested models have now been given the best rating of five stars. Among the candidates, the Audi E-Tron is an electric SUV, plus the hybrid SUV Toyota RAV4 and Lexus UX, as well as the conventionally powered mini crossover VW T-Cross. The Renault Clio compact car as well as the Toyota Corolla and Mazda3 compact sedans also impressed with occupant, child and pedestrian protection and with the safety equipment.
With the star system, Euro-NCAP clearly summarizes the test results in several categories. For example, there are five stars for good impact protection and extensive equipment with practical accident prevention technology.
