Many have a subscription for the daily newspaper, but the subscription to cars is relatively new. This is made possible by Lynk & Co, a brand that has not yet made a big impact in Europe in connection with cars. But this is about to change, because the first model, an SUV that bears the name 01, is already available for the car subscription.
What is Lynk & Co.?
Lynk & Co. is part of the Geely Group from China, which among others also owns Volvo. The 4,54 meter long SUV 01 was launched in April, followed by the smaller SUV 02 and a sedan named 03. In 2020 the SUVs 05 and 06 came along and with the 08 (the lucky number par excellence in China, by the way) the first electrically powered car on subscription. The 01 has been revised for the European market and is now a plug-in hybrid that is available for subscription.
Easy and stress-free
An all-too-big surprise is not waiting for those who subscribe to 01. You just have to take a closer look at a VW Tiguan and you will know what your new car looks like and what it has to offer. Membership at Lynk & Co. is stress-free in every respect and is quite uncomplicated. If you want to drive the 01 on a subscription, you only have to pay for the fuel yourself. Everything else, such as insurance, support and round-the-clock service, is handled by Lynk & Co. If the car is broken, Lynk takes the car to the workshop and then back to the customer.
How much does the subscription cost?
The 01 subscription costs 500 euros per month and can be canceled on a monthly basis. It is also possible to share the car with friends, family or other members of Lynk & Co. You can even set the times when the car is not needed. Then the 01 and the other models practically go into car sharing.
