More amenities and higher prices
Toyota peps up the C-HR with a new drive option and some extras. At the same time, however, the starting price is rising sharply.
For the 2020 model year, Toyota has revised its compact SUV C-HR in detail and also added a second hybrid drive to its range. Now the Japanese manufacturer has announced the prices for the German market, which on the one hand are picking up strongly, but on the other hand the entry-level version is also based on higher quality equipment.
The previously offered at the price of 22.000 Euro, nameless basic version deleted. New entry is the equipment "Flow", which is characterized by a lush comfort and safety features. In combination with the 85 kW / 116 PS strong basic gasoline 1.2 T the price is now 26.290 Euro. Before the model maintenance this version 700 Euro was cheaper. In return, the customer will receive new equipment details such as LED headlights and a functional upgrade for the infotainment system with 8-inch touch screen, which will allow smartphone integration via Apple Carplay or Android Auto in the future.
As an alternative to the basic gasoline, the C-HR in the current hybrid version with 1,8-liter petrol engine for the price of 29.140 Euro is also available from the Flow equipment. Compared to its predecessor, the premium here is 850 Euro. New is the hybrid drive with two-liter gasoline engine and 135 kW / 184 PS, which is offered from 33.690 Euro in the equipment variant "Team Germany".
