Ferrari returns to Le Mans after 50 years

Ferrari will return to endurance racing with a new Le Mans Hypercar in 2023. For the first time in 50 years, the red racers from Maranello will again be fighting for victory in the legendary 24-hour race. The Ferrari Comeback Le Mans 2023 will be the return to the pinnacle of endurance racing. Ferrari announced this yesterday.

Entry into the hypercar class is scheduled to mark the 50th anniversary of leaving the racing team in 1973. Ferrari's opponents in the hypercar class will then be Audi, Glickenhaus, Peugot, Porsche and Toyota.

With 24 world championship titles (most recently in 2017) and 36 victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Italian sports car manufacturer has set a respectable record.
