Two of Ferrari's direct competitors have already placed their vehicles on the market in the SUV luxury segment. First, the Italian terrain bull Lamborghini Governance on the other hand the noble Briton Bentley Bentayga. Ferrari is now officially announcing that a Ferrari SUV and Ferrari electric sports car will be built by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
"It will then be the fastest sports SUV on the market," says Sergio Marchionne. He is CEO of Ferrari and gave the interview this week.
On the agenda: a Ferrari electric sports car
The Italian car manufacturer also plans to build an electric sports car. As Marchionne announced at the North American International Auto Show 2018 in Detroit, they wanted to change the brand policy. So there is now the possibility to concentrate on the construction of an electric super sports car.
