Golden October at Mitsubishi Motors

Even the autumn has its beautiful sides. At least at Mitsubishi, where October earned the adjective "golden" with almost 5.000 new registrations for the Japanese automobile importer. Once again, Mitsubishi outperformed the overall market, which declined 7,4 percent in October.

The 4.976 vehicles - including the pick-ups - newly registered in Germany in October mean an increase of more than 58 percent for Mitsubishi Motors in Germany compared to the same month in the previous year. If one only looks at the number of cars as recorded in the statistics of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the rate of increase is even 63,3 percent. Particularly gratifying: the sales figures increased sustainably through all model series. From January to October 2018, Mitsubishi sales grew 15,8 percent year-on-year. Mitsubishi Motors is once again among the Japanese import brands with the highest percentage increase in sales.

50.000 units have already reached 2018's full-year sales target of 45.163 at the beginning of the year, which was ambitious at the beginning of the year. "This is a great team effort across our organization, for which I thank every single employee. I am confident today, no doubt that we will take advantage of the wave of success that has carried us through the year so far in the two months ahead. Today, we are clearly on track to reach our ambitious goals for 2018 in every respect, "commented Mitsubishi Motors Managing Director. Kolja Rebstock the monthly result. Mitsubishi's market share climbed to 1,9 percent in October, with 1,5 percent for the first ten months.

"A sensational success," added Christian Andersen, Head of PR and Marketing. "Now we can record good momentum from the final stretch 2018 for the new year." The new Outlander plug-in hybrid is the main focus, which with its electric range of 54 km and its 40 g COdefies every threat of driving ban per kilometer.
