The Chinese automaker Great Wall will launch two brands in Europe. In the next few months, sales of the Wey V71 are to begin in Germany. The medium-sized SUV with plug-in hybrid drive aims to impress with its elegant interior, modern infotainment system and a high degree of networking.

The group’s “young” electric car brand, Ora, is to follow later. The specialty of the label, which is already represented in China, is an unusual mixture of retro design and futurism. Among other things, the small cars Ora R1 and R2, which is considered to be one of the cheapest e-cars in the world, and the Ora Pengkemao study, which bears a striking similarity to the VW Beetle, are known.
