After wide body, special paint and exhaust tuning, they have Volkswagen- Apprentices made the engine of the VW Golf GTI this time. The twelve trainees tickled up to 295 kW / 400 PS from the 2,0-liter turbo of the production model. The right appearance is made possible by two-tone paint, a special body kit and 20-inch wheels. Inside there are bucket seats and a high-end sound system.
The one-off under the name Golf GTI Heartbeat is now celebrating its premiere at the tuning meeting on Lake Wörthersee. The Group's trainees have been showing fans of the brand a model they have designed themselves since 2008. Most recently, for example, the GTI Dark Shine with powerful exhaust system or the GTI Cabrio Austria in white and red special paint.
The GTI meeting on Lake Wörthersee is taking place for the 35th time this year. Originally intended as a party for GTI fans, the VW Group has increasingly used the gathering as a stage for its products and brands in recent years. With the current edition, which is dedicated to the 40th GTI birthday, one wants to go back to the roots: VW is now limiting itself to participation with its core brand. Unlike in previous years, Audi, Skoda and Co. are not there.
