Hyundai Tuscon: Also with a plug

Hyundai offers the Tucson in various electrified versions. Now a new one is added.

The Hyundai Tucson plug-in hybrid is now available for prices starting at 42.350 euros. Its drive combination of 1,6-liter gasoline engine and electric motor provides a system output of 195 kW / 265 hp and directs the power via a six-speed automatic in the direction of both axles; the electric range is specified as 74 kilometers. The compact all-wheel-drive SUV qualifies for the environmental bonus of 7.178 euros gross. Features include 19-inch wheels, a digital cockpit and two-zone automatic air conditioning.

After various 48-volt and full hybrid variants, the plug-in Tucson is the first variant with a plug. In terms of both performance and price, it is at the upper end of the portfolio. So far, the range ranged from just under 27.000 euros for the entry-level petrol engine to at least 37.400 euros for the full hybrid with the simplest equipment.
