The VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring will also be available in the future. Starting next Sunday, the platform iRacing offers computer gamers the opportunity to emulate their idols on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. Eight races are on the program in the premier season.
"Our users just can't get enough of the Nordschleife, so the demand for a virtual counterpart to the VLN Endurance Championship Nürburgring was high," said Tony Gardner, President of iRacing. "I am convinced that the Sim racers will be thrilled."
Many racing drivers who prepare for the real races in the virtual world prove that racing simulations are no longer reserved only for geeks. One of them is Mercedes-AMG driver Maro Engel. "I know both sides," he says. "The virtual VLN offers sim racers all over the world a completely new way to experience the fascination of the VLN."
