Jeep offers its new compact SUV Compass in Germany for the market launch in July as a special edition model "Opening Edition". Features include 18 inch wheels, LED taillights and chrome trim on the side windows. For the drive are a 2,0-liter diesel with 103 kW / 140 PS and a 125 kW / 175 PS strong gasoline engine to choose from. Both engines are coupled to a nine-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. The prices start at 35.900 Euro.
During the year, further variants of the 4,40 Meter Compass will be launched, including manual and front-wheel drive versions. In addition, there may be smaller engines, so that the starting price for the series should fall to around 25.000 Euro. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
