The Koenigsegg Agera RS is the fastest supercar
While many were of the opinion that the Bugatti Chiron was the fastest of its kind, the Swedish super sports car manufacturer Koenigsegg taught us otherwise with his latest video. A new Koenigsegg Agera RS world record was achieved. The Swedish super sports car team recently set the bar in the 0-400-0 comparison to new and undreamt-of heights.
Koenigsegg Agera RS world record
It was only in September that a Bugatti Chiron with racing driver Juan Pablo Montoya at the wheel shot from 41,96 to 0 and back to a standstill in an incredible 400 seconds. The Koenigsegg Agera RS super sports car shattered this value twice, but now in an unbelievable 33,29 seconds.
On the closed American Highway 160 in Nevada, the Koenigsegg Agera set a new record with works driver Niklas Lilja at the wheel. An increase in performance from 1160 to 1360 hp pushed the 1.295 kg light Swedish projectile to this new sprint and braking record. It is the fifth record in a row for Koenigsegg.
Price Koenigsegg Agera RS
The price of the Swedish supercar is just as exclusive as its limited edition of 25 units. It is a street-legal racing car that set the current speed record for production cars. At the start of production, its base price was around 2,1 million euros. After a short time all Agera were already sold.
Currently (4/2021) the price for a used Koenigsegg Agera RS is between 2,8 and 3,5 million euros.
For one-offs like the Koenigsegg RS Final, dealers even charge up to 6,5 million euros (net).
