With the Bronto sells Lada in Russia a particularly robust version of the 4 × 4 classic Niva. It has now received a few refinements.
Lada has presented a revised version of the Niva Bronto in Russia. The one that can be ordered in two versions, Luxe and Prestige Allradler remains true to its particularly robust image with coarse MT tires and reinforced rear axle suspension. Inside, the model year 2022, which can already be ordered in its home country, should offer more comfort than before thanks to better insulation and new seats. In addition, the instrument cluster and the control unit for the air conditioning have been redesigned.
Lada relies on original drive
The Bronto, which is not officially available in Germany, is still powered by an old 1,7-liter petrol engine with 61 kW / 83 PS. As before, the all-wheel drive system comprises several limited slip differentials. The Niva, essentially unchanged since 1976, has to hold out for a few more years with its outdated technology. A successor with modern Renault technology has been announced for 2024.
