The 400th Lamborghini racing car rolls off the assembly line in Sant'Agata Bolognese

A new milestone at Lamborghini. The Squadra Corse Team completed the 400th Lamborghini Huracan racer. Since the start of production in 2014, 400 Lamborghini racing cars have left the main plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

These include the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo and the Huracán GT3 Evo. Incidentally, both racing cars are built on the same production line as the road vehicles.

Improved aerodynamics on the GT3 EVO

The GT3 was developed in cooperation with Dallara, a well-known construction company from Parma. She has over 40 years of experience in motorsport. Many aerodynamic add-on parts at the front and rear are intended to ensure the contact pressure.

[dropcap size=big]GT3[/dropcap]The Huracán replaced the Lamborghini Gallardo. It is used both in the GT3 world and in the Super Trofeo series. To date, 400 Lamborghini racing cars have been manufactured. With its powerful 5,2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, traction control, ABS brakes and specially developed Pirelli tyres, the agile Huracán has become one of the most sought-after race cars by motorsport teams.

Although the Huracán only arrived on the motorsport scene in 2013, it has already claimed some of the most coveted victories. He was a three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He also won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2018 and 2019.

In 2020 alone, the Huracán GT3 covered a total distance of no less than 15 km in 24 national and international championships under the direction of 88 different teams and in the experienced hands of 20.000 drivers.
